Bruce Mitchell:Oh, and speaking of gutless, Derek, I read your WEI plugarama. Way to go. The rape angle was great because everyone was talking about it. Then you quote Greg Sapolsky going off without mentioning the publication (the Torch) or the columnists he ripped (me and McNeill) or even what actually happened and when. How did you choose who to quote, by fame? What's the matter, afraid taking a side might upset someone you want to shmooze? Oh yeah, you'll wait until you see it. How convenient. At least Gabe does his own dirty work.

Madden speaks for himself. So does K.C. Out here in the real world, where everything isn't a movie, people don't agree with each and every thing their friends say. They both have a right to their opinion, and both their opinions fall within the parameters of what's acceptable here.

I do agree with Madden about one thing. I think you plug every thing in sight because you want a job in the wrestling business. That's why you couldn't conceive of K.C. leaving it of his own volition. By the way, you've had months - where's all the evidence of K.C. being such a big liar?

Derek Burgan: The Editors of the Wrestling Enjoyment Index have released the following statement:

It has come to our attention that in a recent edition of the world famous Wrestling Enjoyment Index neglected to mention the "arrogant" writers that Gabe Sapolsky was referring to, possibly confusing its audience of hardcore wrestling fans. After an exhausted investigation, we were surprised to find out it was little more than the sloppy journalism. WEI would like to issue a full apology to the arrogant writer in question, Bruce Mitchell of the Pro Wrestling Torch, along as one to his bobo, Pat McNeill, also of the Pro Wrestling Torch. WEI did not actually read McNeill's column, but we'll take the offended party's word. We also discovered that the writer was going to add "petty" and "bats#it insane" to the arrogant description, but felt that it was implied by the fact it was reported that Gabe Sapolsky was responding to "The Torch."

WEI would also like to issue a formal apology to KC O'Conner, a douchebag of the highest order, for the implications (or ramifications) of calling him a liar when he is clearly a vindictive punk at best. WEI fully expects to get a discount at KC's restaurant for all the publicity though. While WEI is a humorous take on the weekly events in wrestling (think VH1's Best Week Ever meets The Corner Cube) it should still be held to strict journalistic standards and thus should be above calling out men such as KC O'Conner for the weasels they are.

Lastly, WEI would like to encourage everyone to buy YouShoot with Missy Hyatt and TNA Global Impact so that one day every member of WEI's staff can get a job in wrestling.
